# Layout of Book

The format for CC Compact is as follows:

• Bracketed red text indicates the chapter and verse numbers from Caitanya-Caritamrita (the narration follows Srila Prabhupada’s translation).

• Red text indicates lessons and reflections on the narration.

• There are also specific references which are end-noted in the appendix.

Note: This small book is not a commentary on the Caitanya- Caritamrita. The primary objective is to provide a succinct overview of the text. For authentic and in-depth commentaries one can refer to the *Anubhasya* commentary by Srila Bhaktisiddhanta Saraswati Thakur or the *Amrita-pravaha-bhasya* commentary by Srila Bhaktivinoda Thakur.
